1. Purpose

Knowledge Catalog helps businesses publish accurate, structured information about themselves so that answer engines can cite them reliably. This policy exists to keep the Service safe, lawful and useful for everyone.

2. Prohibited content

You must not upload, publish or transmit content that:

• is unlawful, misleading or deceptive, or likely to mislead or deceive consumers (including under section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law);
• is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or infringes another person's privacy;
• infringes intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret);
• is discriminatory or promotes hatred based on race, religion, sex, sexuality, disability or other protected attribute;
• sexualises minors or depicts child abuse in any form;
• promotes terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm or suicide;
• contains malware, exploits, or credentials, or exposes personal information of third parties without a lawful basis and their consent.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• scrape, mirror, or systematically extract the Service other than through documented APIs;
• reverse-engineer or attempt to derive source code from the Service;
• share your account credentials or allow unauthorised access;
• probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our prior written permission;
• use the Service to send unsolicited commercial electronic messages in breach of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth);
• interfere with, degrade or overload the Service or attempt to circumvent rate limits.

4. Catalog integrity

Because Knowledge Catalog content is designed to be cited by AI and search systems, we take integrity seriously. You must not:

• impersonate another business or person;
• publish false qualifications, licences, awards, certifications or accreditations;
• publish fake reviews or testimonials, or misrepresent endorsements (contrary to the Australian Consumer Law);
• provide regulated advice (medical, financial, legal, tax) as though you hold a licence you do not hold.

5. Fair use

Plans are intended for a single business, its brand and its team. If your usage is materially higher than a reasonable single-business workload we may contact you to discuss appropriate limits or a custom arrangement.

6. Enforcement

If we believe you have breached this policy we may, depending on severity: contact you with a warning, remove or restrict specific content, suspend access, or terminate your account. Serious breaches — including illegal content, security attacks, or content that endangers people — may result in immediate termination and notification to law enforcement.

7. Reporting abuse

To report content or conduct that breaches this policy, email support@knowledgecatalog.com.au with the URL, a description of the issue, and any evidence you can share. We investigate reports promptly and confidentially where possible.
